Cyber Legacy Cup: What do golf and eSports have in common?

On June 5, in St. Petersburg, on the sidelines of the Roscongress Golf Cup SPIEF-2021, Cyber Legacy Cup charity cybersport tournament with a prize fund of 1 million rubles was held. Money was donated by athletes to the "I am!" and "Under the Banner of Good" charity foundations.

The live broadcast of the tournament, which was conducted on the twitch-channel of the new CL member Dmitry "Hurma" Geynts, was watched by 11 thousand people. The event took place in a special cybersport zone located in the main tent of the "Peterhof" golf club. It was attended by players from the Navi, CL and LFG teams.

Newcomers were able to test themselves in computer sports - everyone received training in a special activity zone of the tournament. And the cyberathletes tried themselves at golf - the senior coach of the Russian national team Igor Ivashin held a training session for them.
The prize fund of the eSports tournament of 1 million rubles was awarded to two charitable foundations - "I am!" and "Under the Banner of Good." The former helps children with special needs, and the latter - children with rare diseases and disorders, as well as those who found themselves stuck in a difficult life situation. Participants of the tournament themselves presented the certificates to the representatives of the foundations.

One more gift - this time from the "Growing Up Together" Charity Foundation - President of Freedom International Group Narek Sirakanyan presented to the founders of the "I Am!" Ksenia Alferova and Egor Beroev in the amount of 10 million rubles. This sum will help the foundation to cover operating costs in its activities for several months.

“I congratulate the champion, Kirill "Kiryache32” Grishin and once again express my deep gratitude to him and the rest of the guys: Daniil "Putrick”Abdrakhmanov, Vitaly “L1NK” Nikolaev, Maxim “Loru77” Ivanov and Dmitry “Hurma” Geynts.
