Counter-Strike: Global Offensive is one of the most popular eSports disciplines of our time. The number of registered players worldwide exceeds 8 million. Roscongress Cyber Cup became the first corporate tournament in Russia, giving the opportunity to amateur players from a wide variety of business areas to express themselves. Among the participants: representatives of companies from the fields of innovative educational technologies and e-commerce, security and banking, and many others.
The philosophy of such tournaments is the integration of eSports and business, the opportunity to develop your professional skills and win the competition with colleagues and partners. Strategic thinking, coordinated action, cooperation and team building are just part of the list of skills that the participants of Roscongress Cyber Cup demonstrated in an uncompromising battle.
“eSports is a rapidly growing industry that captivates millions of people around the globe. Corporate cyber tournaments allow you to implement modern HR mechanics in an organization where the business outcome depends on the corporate environment. We thank all the participants and congratulate the winners”, - Director of Business Priority Marianna Skragan said.
“For us, this is the first experience in organizing corporate tournaments. There is room for growth, but, in general, the format is no different from professional tournaments", - comments Vladislav Grechkin, CEO of Cyber Legacy. “We are grateful to Roscongress for inviting the participants companies, and I hope that representatives from other industries and leaders in their respective fields will join us in the near future.”

One of the winners, Andrey, a student of the Financial University: “Speaking about emotions, they were over-the-top from the very beginning of the game. When we won the first rounds and realized that we were stronger, they overwhelmed. And the rest of the rounds we played calmly. All members of corporate teams, I believe, could not afford to spend a lot of time preparing for the tournament, but we, the students, were more fortunate in this regard. They simply did not have enough time to hone their shooting skills and understand the layout of the map itself - how to move on it, where to wait out for the opponents, etc."
