On “Growing up Together” Foundation's contribution to the #MYVMESTE Award for projects to help children with disabilities

On June 3, on the sidelines of the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum - 2021 (SPIEF), a cooperation agreement was signed between the Association of Volunteer Centers (AVC) and Narek Sirakanyan's “Growing up Together” Charity Aid Foundation.

The organizations will unite their efforts in the development of corporate volunteering and popularization of the principles of sustainable development in tеrms of the International "#WeAreTogether" Prize. The joint activity of AVC (founder of the Prize) and the “Growing up Together” Foundation will be aimed at increasing the efficiency in the implementation of corporate social responsibility programs. Among the topics of cooperation - informational interaction between the business community and corporate volunteer initiatives in solving social problems.

Projects to help children with disabilities within the framework of the agreement have been announced for one of the four tracks of the "#WeAreTogether" Prize - “Volunteers and NGOs”.

Providing social support and assistance to children with disabilities in its work, “Growing Up Together” Foundation will contribute 10 million rubles to the Prize's grant fund. President of the Foundation Narek Sirakanyan announced this on June 3 during the signing of the agreement and back on May 18, at the start of a large-scale project in Gorky Park in Moscow.

"Growing Up Together" Foundation helps non-profit organizations and charity foundations with free Internet marketing and public relations projects. Since its creation in November 2020, the foundation has provided services to 35 non-profit organizations in the equivalent of about 55 million rubles. Among them are prototyping and website development, implementation of special promotion projects, design and preparation of BTL products, marketing research, Internet promotion, organization and holding of events, etc.

Artem Metelev, chairman of the AVC council, founder of the DOBRO.RU portal, noted that cooperation between the Association and the Foundation would enable the Prize participants to receive not only financial, but also intellectual assistance.

“Prize nominations cover all walks of public life, and the topic of inclusion, support for people with disabilities is traditionally one of the most popular. At the single DOBRO.RU portal 4.2 thousand projects are registered already. Our partnership with "Growing Up Together" Foundation is also an opportunity for Prize participants to become more resilient. Together with the Foundation, we shall not only support the participants of the Prize, but also develop an online course. And we shall also change the attitude of people towards children with disabilities, creating inclusive living conditions, developing the volunteer movement, civil initiatives”, - he concluded.

Starting in July this year, Narek Sirakanyan's Foundation will start issuing grants for marketing on a permanent basis for charity organizations helping children with disabilities. Their amount will vary from 500 thousand to 5 million rubles. Until the end of 2021, Freedom International Group, which owns the foundation, will allocate about 100 million rubles for grants.

We highly appreciate the cooperation with the "#WeAreTogether" project. We see the rising position of our country in the leading world CAF World Giving Index ranking as a strategic goal of charity development. Now Russia is at 117th place, and we shall make every effort that in 10-15 years it enters the Top 25. I am convinced that if each of us is now setting ambitious goals for ourselves, social responsibility will become not just a goal, but a guideline of our life. This, in my opinion, is the task of responsible investment of our company in the future", - Narek Sirakanyan noted.

Narek Sirakanyan's “Growing Up Together” Charity Aid Foundation was established in November 2020 in Freedom International Group ecosystem to provide free support to non-profit organizations specializing in helping children with disabilities. It helps charitable NGOs to build effective public relations with the public offline and online. Official website - https://fondvv.ru
